Cycling is developing at a rapid pace. Cyclists increasingly use modern navigation devices for orientation. Certain developments in cycling are going in the direction of digital user experience; this means that the cyclist on the route helps himself with a modern device, a smartphone… which gives him information about the route, directs him, enables him to navigate. With this, the cyclist also obtains all the necessary information about the characteristics of the route, the course of the route and other important information along the route.
For the Municipality of Domžale, we prepared cycling routes and digitalized cycling routes – products, and arranged them in a cyclist-friendly user experience (App).
Project assignments:
- Inspection and preparation of cycling routes in the field and a snapshot of the situation.
- Digitalization of cycling routes – recording and preparation of tracks.
- Computer processing and preparation of routes in digital format.
- Preparation of photo material.
- Placement of routes on the user experience – App.
- Preparation and design of a comprehensive cycling product for the user.
